In recognition of the many challenges that individuals may face when seeking employment and/or accessing training to advance their career, CEOC will contract with an adult daycare program aimed at removing obstacles and reducing the burden of adult daycare costs. While the primary focus of the program is to provide assistance to Health Career Lab’s participants by offering daycare services for their family members in need, the program also aims to address broader community needs.
The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to identify a suitable adult daycare provider who can effectively fulfill the objectives listed below. The selected provider will play a crucial role in supporting individuals in their employment endeavors by offering high-quality and affordable adult daycare services while simultaneously supporting outreach efforts to raise awareness of this initiative. By providing this assistance, the program aims to alleviate the financial and logistical challenges that individuals may encounter when balancing their caregiving responsibilities with their pursuit of employment opportunities in the healthcare industry.

Health Career Lab of CEOC is looking to collaborate with leadership across the education continuum to equip people in untapped populations with the skills, experience, and knowledge necessary to start or advance their career in healthcare. As such, Health Career Lab of CEOC invites healthcare education and training providers to submit proposals to expand the healthcare talent pool in the Greater Louisville, Kentucky area. These proposals should highlight the provider’s expertise in healthcare education and training and their ability to develop, execute, and assess credentialing of 10 distinct healthcare education pathways. Our ideal award recipient would possess expertise in delivering engaging, streamlined, and inclusive healthcare career upskilling opportunities for underserved populations, under the oversight of CEOC through our Workforce Innovation Committee.
The funding mechanism allows for a variety of online or in-person training models including but not limited to incumbent worker training, Registered Apprenticeship Programs, pre-apprenticeship programs that articulate to Registered Apprenticeship Programs, paid internships, paid work experience, clinical training, and on-the-job training (OJT). Applicants are encouraged to propose program models driven by industry and worker’s voices and led by industry experts. Program participants must be at least 17 years old and not currently enrolled in a secondary school within a local educational agency.

CEOC is seeking proposals from venture studio providers to collaboratively design a healthcare-specific venture studio program. Building off CEOC’s validated Healthcare Innovation Engine and leveraging its Data Hub, the Venture Studio will uncover opportunities, generate and validate ideas for scalable businesses, and develop and co-launch startups aimed at improving operational efficiencies within healthcare while augmenting and alleviating the healthcare workforce crisis. Recently, CEOC was awarded American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grant funds to support the development, implementation, and scalability of the Venture Studio.

CEOC is seeking proposals to secure the services of a qualified company to provide event planning and management services. CEOC requests the planning and implementation services of an event management company for the 2023 OPTIMIZE event. OPTIMIZE is the premier conference convening the top minds in innovation, bringing together a highly curated mix of corporate/C-level executives, entrepreneurs, investors, and industry champions, all focused on the most relevant topics in aging innovation.
OPTIMIZE will dive deep into themes of importance for the evolving world of healthcare. The two-day agenda will culminate with the 2023 CareTech Pitch competition. Selected from applicants around the globe, these finalists will be chosen from the Global Innovation Search. These innovators will highlight their companies and best-in-class, scalable solutions as part of the journey toward better health outcomes.
